Agreed Rumi. I also check the program out as they put it up so that way I know what events I want to see. It also allows a group of us freaks to get together and see them as a group.

I'm freaking ready already. :lol Can't wait to see you freaks, SS, the panels, etc.

Buddies and I also pre-print out the schedule on Tuesday night. We usually have a little sleep-over (I know, how 5th grade of us) and plan out what we want to do all 4 days. We either do it together or do our own stuff throughout the weekend. Like I was all alone during Sci-Fi Friday night. Apparently out of my friends, I'm the only one who likes Stargate (OH GOD WHY did they cancel SG-1, but I digress).

Yeah, we all do the same. Minus the sleep over of course and we disucss it on the boards. :lol

Going to San Diego myself for the first time this year, I kept pestering my wife that the Comic Con we go to in Seattle isn't enough, so she made me a deal if we go for 10 days and invite her brother, wife and two kids she would let me go. Granted I had to get 2 two bedroom trendwest rooms with our points but I guess its worth it...oh and a three day pass to Seaworld and the zoo. :monkey5

So what does the freaks board members do? Get together with Sideshow for a dinner and drinks?

Been budgting for this trip for almost two months...it's gonna be expensive 10 days.

Good morning. In less than an few hours, merchandise collectors from here will join others from around the world. And you will be launching the largest online attending of a con in the history of mankind. "Mankind." That word should have new meaning for all of us today. We can't be consumed by our petty differences anymore. We will be united in our common interests. Perhaps it's fate that today is the Twenty fifth of July, and you will once again be online at the sideshow web chat... Not for tyranny, oppression, or persecution... but for prices and discounts. We are surfing for our right to collect. To exist. And should we win the day, the Twenty fifth of July will no longer be known as an American holiday, but as the day the world declared in one voice: "We will not go quietly into the night! We will not vanish without collecting!" We're going to live on! We're going to collect! Today we celebrate our San Diego Comic Con!
