I like both pretty equally for dif. reasons. Lately I've been more DC, but in the past more Marvel. I voted DC to throw the underdog a bone.

Again, said it tons

DC: Myth/Fantasy
Marvel: Sci-Fi

But both great. Where would Cap. America be without Superman? But would Batman ever had anyone to compete with if it weren't for Daredevil? It's Superheros, and I love them all!

Make Mine Marvel

My Marvel collection outweighs DC 4 to 1.

Marvel and it's not even close. It's not that I don't like DC but there were only two characters I really liked, Aquaman and Green Lantern. Flash wasn't bad either.

I was always a "Make mine Marvel" kinda guy, but as of late I'm 100% a DC fan. The only thing I read as far as Marvel goes now is Astonishing X-men, Uncanny X-Men and X-Men. Other than that, I just can't get into anything Marvel anymore. I thought House of M was an interesting idea, poorly executed, in my opinion. Then, Civil War made my decision to stop reading Marvel. Again, an interesting idea, poorly executed, IMO. From Spider-Man joining the Avengers, unmasking, the idea of killing Mary Jane, and now, from what I've heard, possibly killing Sue Storm, it all just seems like a desperate attempt to keep readers' interest, instead of writing good stories. The writers at Marvel just keep letting me down.
Now as far as DC goes, "52" is awesome, Darwyn Cooke's new "The Spirit" and "Batman/Spirit" (written by Jeph Loeb) were great. And if you've never read it, I strongly advise picking up "New Frontier," either in trade form or the new Absolute edition that came out a while ago. Greatest book I've read in a long time, great art and even better story telling.

Wooter, Cook is the BEST artist/writer active now! Big fan! BUT Marvel has had Gaimen more lately, so they're really starting in a better direction too.

My thing is Marvel has more characters I like, but the DC characters I like, though fewer, I like MORE than any of the Marve. So they really equal out.

It all comes down to writer/artist though really. I commit to artists and writers, they're the ones who really make the characters breath.

Biggest mess in comics is "52". Black Adam & Booster Gold stories are the only good things that came out of "52" so far. Batwoman not too sure yet. DC idea to lept one year into the future has too many misses. Just a handful of semi-interesting charactors benefited from this idea. It's just too hard of a schedule to do a weekly comic justice.

WHAT ABOUT THE ****ING WATCHMEN!?!?!??!

Best Comic Ever! But that's not really DC Universe, they just had the smarts to sign on the best writer (and craziest) of the day (ever?)

haha I know... I love alan moore... especially what he did for batman in the killing joke.

DC is just so much better IMHO, these superheroes define that man(or metahuman) can do GOOD...

for ****s sake, theres already so much trouble and evil in the world, you don't need it in your comic books.... *ahem* marvel...
