hmmmm strong words :lol what makes you think that ??

Just a calculated guess based on what SS has done to date. Three fellowship PF's so far [Frodo, Aragorn, and Legolas] and all three are based on scene's from the first movie with Frodo and Legolas in the Mines of Moria and Aragorn at Amon Hen. I think the last thing SS wants is another "poopin Pippin" nightmare and a PF of Boromir from scene that only last's for a couple of minutes.....and only in the extended version of the DVD's is not how most people remember Boromir.

Thanks Woodsy! lol. I asked them if they could reveal how many dio's they're planning for next year and if a Treebeard, Sauron, Moria or Bombadil dio was among them :D
Oh and i also asked them if they could convert my Shades of Mordor diorama wait list :D

I look forward to seeing your questions [and their answers!] in SS's next 'Ask Sideshow' segment. Esp. the one about the Mordor dio. :lol

Why would there be a Bombadil if it's the movie license they have? And the convert request will be the standard 'Sorry but it's an automated system'. Still, I really hope you score one FE.
Any full figure Treebeard would be welcome!

The Boromir PF. I know I'm in a minority for the wounded kneeling pose but I believe this represents his finest moment after defending the Hobbits to regain his honour. Any fighting pose shows his weakness based on his pride and vanity as a warrior which the Ring exploited. Just an opinion though.

After seeing SS's great Man-Thing sculpt, I think a Treebeard [walking in water] with Merry and Pippin at Orthanc dio. could look outstanding!

How does a fighting pose show his weakness? Maybe a pose from the chamber of Mazarbul?

I think a dio of the wounded knee pose would be fine, but not a PF of it.

I couldn't agree more......:D

My only regret with this scene is that Boromir didn't grab hold of Sam and use him as a human shield....:naughty :lol

Sam's clever. He would use his handy frying pan as a shield, then put the arrows in Boromir himself, where they belonged for betraying his friend :naughty :rock :lol
x :peace

Wouldn't that kinda be like an elephant trying to shield itself using a peanut? :lol

So this is the thanks Boromir gets for his willingness to share the burden of the ring with Frodo?....out of the sheer goodness of his heart. :naughty

Probably :lol
....but y'know brave little Sam, he did say " I think I'm getting the hang of this", and at least he kept his promise :lecture. He and his frying pan went a long way. Your guy only lasted the first film :monkey3 :lol
x :peace
