I guess no inter-racial dating there, either. Whatever.

There really isn't any kind of "dating" per say. They frown on everything, but there's alot of things going on outside the school and church and I'm sure it includes interracial dating as well.

SINFUL!!! :lol

Edit: I hope people know that I wasn't against inter-racial dating, or marriage. Not sure about this school though. They do have members of all races though.

I think that was part of a radio station promo. This guy was better than the skinny ones who were doing it. He's nervey, I'll give him that! :lol

OMG. :lol

He needs to keep dancing like that for lets say about...umm at least 700 more hours. Burn the calories boy, burn em! :lol

Well, he was expelled today. Went to that school for 13 years. He's better off.

Really? I'm sure this kid would have a strong legal case if he decides to sue, which I would absolutely 100%.

Are you sure he was EXPELLED and not just suspended?

Eeh, maybe. If not a publicly funded institution, I'm not sure there is much that can be done without dragging in first and fourteenth amendment issues, which is very messy. I'm guessing there are precedents for these things.

I understand the private school wanting to have rules and regulations while the student is at the institution, but IMO once you leave their property, all bets are off as to what sort of events you can or can't attend (off school property), especially one as popular and socially acceptable as The Prom.

Give me a break, this school really has their head up their ass. WTF is this place, Russia, China?

I'd be the first one to take this to the press if I was that kid's parents, and with today's liberal media loving a juicy story where they can slam the Religious Right, they're sure to get big media coverage and probably justified in this case. Isn't this kid about to graduate, and these pricks are going to nullify 4 years of hard work (I'm assuming) just cause the kid wants to take his girl to the dance?

From the article I read he was suspended. Not expelled. They said they'd expel him if he was caught being involved in sex or alcohol.

They are planning to sue. He can't attend classes, can't take his final exams with his class and can't graduate with his class. Though they're calling it a suspension, sounds like he's expelled to me. He can take his exams later then get his diploma.

When a school is allowed to control what you do outside of it, then things get a bit scary.
