...i'm so gonna be sculpting a solid neck back onto mine. I don't care about the loss in movement, I just want my figs to look as human as possible. That's why I've always preferred the Sideshow necks over the Hot Toys ones.

It's a shame so much was lost in likeness just in painting. This will be a last minute call for me, but I'm betting on a TOD figure to have a better, "finished" likeness.

Other pictures  Awesome!

Sculpted stubble is enough. Any paint on that and you have a beard. They need to keep this paint app on the 1/6th one.

Hello. I've been lurking here for a long time. I'm glad to be a poster.

I, too, was a little concerned about the "beard" on the 1/6th Indy. But, this figure is a representation of the character when we first see him at the beginning of Raiders. During that sequence (and indeed, throughout a good part of the film),Ford has more than a little stubble on his face. He's got almost a 3-day growth of beard. Examples:

So, while the beard on the 1/6 does seem a bit overstated, it is film accurate.

I agree that the unpainted sculpt is indeed a masterpiece, even more of a case then for Sideshow to sack the people/company who paint these !

Its like they let their kids paint this figs. I kid, I kid.(don't ban me Sideshow) But I wish they took a better effort on the painting of these figs. No lazy eyes, and please make the actual product look better than the proto.!

I don't think the production figures will have thick paint like the proto or other SS figures. He will have a molded flesh head similar what Hot Toys does. Clone Kenobi and the Hobbits were done like this and they look fantastic.

I agree with you EF... really seems like Sideshow is making the move towards color cast heads and this seems like a prime candidate.
