coolprops---dog alien maquette!

I find myself continually pondering this beast, it certainly is not the piece itself as it is stunning. It is a large chunk of change and in truth I'm a bigger pred fan, was truly hoping the sideshow p1 maquette turned out a little more favourable as I would have purchased instantly, maybe have to wait and see what p1 can do with their pred line.. having said that it is scary when even a potential gem like the dogs deluxe/ ex version has not even wait listed yet, I understand the size and price is a factor but I'm surprised they continue to make the large number Es as they do?

It's because Sideshow takes a 50% cut of anything they sell through their website. So Prime 1 need big edition sizes to be profitable. To make it worse Prime 1 are borrowing the Alien license from Coolprops, so they also need a cut of the profits. Hence the big es.

Just came across a thought, while P1s&Coolprops doing their 1/3 dog, the Mamegyorai for sure will be doing their 1/3 dog as well, then since Infinite studio has the license of predator(s), why not get alien license in the future? And will P1s doing their own?
So many dogs on the way and the Chinese new year dog year is approaching.

Still haven't pulled the trigger yet on the deluxe, not sure what's stopping me as it's a stunning looking piece for sure. Will have to make a decision soon.

And even though the dimensions of this are big, it's not that much bigger than the Sideshow Maquette as that is 21" wide. I think I'd buy a table to display this on in the collection room.

Yeah I stalk a few of them. The collection is slower these days as i tend to favour fewer high end items. Half of my stuff is boxed up since I moved waiting for my display room to be decorated. It's still about 3 or 4 rooms down the line. Given I've been working 6 days a week, it's hard to get too much done. Plus now I have the opposite problem to before. I have space for stuff, but can't afford to buy as much.. Can't win
