I have mixed feelings about these. There are some questionable choices here. The colors are too bright and make them look more like Coomodel's Swiss Guard figures rather than hardy explorers. The puffed and slashed pants are a bit ostentatious for the battlefield. The sergeant's cuirass doesn't cover his back, only his chest, but the lower ranking conquistador's cuirass does - why does the lower ranking soldier have better armor? Accessories are also lacking, they should have had a sidearm like a knife or a sword. Muskets can't be reloaded without a ramrod to push the musket ball and cloth wad down the barrel, they should both have ramrods as well.

On the other hand I love Spanish history and the conquistador look. These will go great with the Hernan Cortes WF exclusive Coomodel released earlier this year. No other company is making conquistadors figures, and it's nice to see Coomodel diversify from samurai (as amazing as their samurai figures are). I hope they follow up their conquistador line with some shielded swordsmen or pikemen.
