For the uniform I ordered this, for the price you really can't beat it and you get a great accurate hat as well. I hope this helps.

Thanks! From my point of view it does not look that bad, it is just painted a bit too dark but otherwise fine.

I have searched for a proper costume the whole day and it seems as there is no fitting jacket. The rest is no problem. But for a non-accurate Joker the things mentioned will be fine. I will search for some good pics of the uniform in order to sit down around Christmas and try to make one on my own...

was joker smiling in that scene, or did he look angry.
i recall a much more angry look, than happy.

The paint job isn't the best - gotta shade the eyes a bit and so forth. But Ledger smirks after he shoots Gordon in that scene, should work fine. Better than shaving/sculpting/recasting the hair...

If you can find one.. ( and good luck) Blue Box toys did an NYPD officer for their 12" Elite Force line a few years back.. that figure had the peaked patrolman's cap with the NYPD hat shield which is pretty much the same as the Gotham cap shield.. ( as opposed to the LAPD shield on the other one pictured above)..

There's one on eBay right now. Basically just the BR Joker headsculpt on a BBI body with the LAPD Police outfit carded set (BBI). It's problably the best police outfit set I've yet seen.

Great site! But they used a different one... This one isn't long sleeve... I like the Italian CARABINIERI... Would make a great Joker with minor changes...

I know the uniform was wrong.. I was only referring to the cap... the carabinieri uniform is much closer in style to a dress uniform.. removing the red piping would be a pain though

That outift is very inaccurate. Only thing going for it is the hat.

But it is still a good base. You need to switch the shirt to a white one and the police shirt could make a good base for a jacket. Anyway, I ordered it and will try to modify it...

Well fair enough, with a lot of modding it could look good. Need to re-sew the shirt so it looks like a jacket, strip off the 'utility belt' and add the relevant patches/badges.

What are you doing for a headsculpt?

I will try a BR head. From my point of view the paintwork seen above is ok but too dark which destroys the likness. I also thought about using the head made by Chris Howes but I don't think it will look right. I have seen somewhere an Arkham Asylum version of it without makeup. I like it but it is not the right one for Cop Joker... There is no proper head neither on ebay nor anywhere else. So the BR head seems to be the best choice for now...
