Payment sent on that Nixon mini poster - even with the black bowling bowl it rocks!!!!!!

Re: Corrose's Workshop - Base Decals, 1/6 Custom Replicas and more!

Love the static cling Nixon poster! You should look into doing some detolf backdrop clings. I'm thinking just the backside, but you could even go for 3 sides and essentially create a dio that takes up zero space. They would probably be design intensive, but the end result would be pretty cool I think. :rock

-Idol Chamber for Raiders Indy, Cliff/rope bridge for ToD Indy
-Twin Pines mall parking lot for Marty
-Steel mill/Pescadero/Cyberdyne for the T2 gang
-Window port for emperor Palpatine and throne
-Zombie infested streets of Atlanta or (insert location here) for Rick Grimes
-Destroyed lobby (or matrix code) for Neo/Matrix gang
-Jungle scene for Predator
-The Dude's apartment for The Dude

The possibilities are endless!

That is a terrific idea! :goodpost:

I would be down for many of those and more!

Detolf "floor" clings would rock, too. Giving the look of grass, road, floor, etc. (It would be great for me, because that would hide the unsightly puck lights on the shelf below ... while also looking crazy cool.)

Corrose, you can print on fabric right....Any thought on doing the rug that ties the room together. Desperately needed!

That Detolf Floor Cling idea is awesome!

Maybe 2 side clings for the angle visual.

I do have a thread dedicated to detolf diorama prints, and have done several already on cling:

The thing to always remember is the older the movie, the lower resolution the art and photography is going to be. I can find 89 batman backdrop images all day long, but as low res as the art already is, it's going to look like crap when blown up. So much of the movie art nowadays is very crisp and sharp and there are tons of high res wallpapers to work with.

In some cases I can re-create a basic look and feel. If you look at the Breaking Bad Dio I did, I used high res stock images and some photoshop magic to mimic the promo poster in the warehouse.

However in most cases we can come up with something generic that fits the figure. I have done a few Alien or AVP dioramas that weren't actual images from the movie, but modified stock jungle photos that kinda match.

As of right now I can print on canvas, backlit film, any kind of vinyl including the glow in the dark, banner vinyl, and cling material.

I'm still looking into the ability to print on fabric.

That's actually exactly what I'd be most interested in. Some jungle, desert or rock wall clings for Indy figures, some jungle for Predator figures, some broken down post-zombie-apocalypse buildings for Walking Dead figures, some steel mill background for T2 figs, etc. Just something to give some atmosphere, not necessarily mimic a particular scene. (Especially if maybe some floors would be possible.)

Hey, I still haven't received my Dirty Laundry decal. No rush, just wondering. Thanks again!

Hey C, I pm'd you regarding an order.

Hey bro, I haven't gotten anything new from you in a bit, can you re-send?

It went out awhile back. Honestly I think the post office is grinding their gears with the recent bit about then stopping Saturday delivery...it seels like everything has slowed way down. One guy I sent stickers to in New York took about 10 days, and its usually only 3-4.

PM me mid next week if has not arrived yet.

^ Right! Dang Feds are holding up business and the prices for shipping aren't getting cheaper.

Re: Corrose's Workshop - Base Decals, 1/6 Custom Replicas and more!

Hey gang, while I have my hands full right now with about a dozen custom orders (which I am juggling) I wanted to let you guys know I'm very close to my financial goal to be able to buy the 3D printer outright.

You guys have been very, very supportive and generous and have helped me get to this point. I'm around $500 shy and I'm hoping to place the order this weekend. I'm so close I can taste it!

So for the next few days, if anyone is looking to buy and existing design work, I can do a little price dealing for multiple quantities.
This includes base decals, regular and glow-in-the-dark, dioramas, clings, heat transfers and other 1/6 items already created. I don't discount decals often at all because there is very little margin as it is, so don't miss out!

This applies on things I have already designed, not new custom work. Know that your business will go towards me being able to offer a TON of new product, and cutting a printing company out of the loop will save you money and waiting time.

Thanks all!
