Re: Full Color Hot Toys Base Decals - Check em out!

Any word on the GONY art posted a while back?

Re: Full Color Hot Toys Base Decals - Check em out!

Yes, my pp addy is on the front page, no need to ever pm me before ordering something that I have already shown as a finished design.

Be sure your payment includes your address, board name and on designs notched for nameplates, I need to know the EXACT wording on your nameplate. I will be copy and pasting it from your notes, so the spelling is up to you :)

Most orders print same say and in most cases ship 24-48 hours.
$6 per decal in the U.S. Add .90 cents to orders outside U.S.

There is no combined or reduced shipping, if you want 1, its $6, if you want 3, it's $18...and so forth (in the US)

Thanks!

Might be worth setting up an image host folder with your catalogue of designs for people to choose from. Or perhaps a thread here where just the designs are posted? They all look great by the way!

Like an Ecommerce site like GoDaddy that includes a shopping cart.
Might be the more organized way to go.

Just upload your designs and let others pick and choose and let the ecommerce site handle the billing and invoices.

Could save you a lot of time shuffling back and forth between PMs, emails and paypal invoices.

Re: Full Color Hot Toys Base Decals - Check em out!

I'm currently working with the built in site builder feature for a commerce page.

Is there anyone really savvy in this arena that I could get to help me with some questions, would ideally be someone I can chat with on Yahoo or whatnot.

Please let me know :)

Thanks Chris!! Got my Miami Serial Killer decal. Excellent work!

Re: Full Color Hot Toys Base Decals - Check em out!

Corrose, is it possible to transfer this to a label that reacts to 3D. I'm thinking the paper red/blue glasses.

Re: Full Color Hot Toys Base Decals - Check em out!

There's actually a photoshop trick I can do with channel shifts that would make it react to the red and blue glasses. It's the same trick they use on any printed 3D materials, so yes :)

Re: Full Color Hot Toys Base Decals - Check em out!

Ask and you shall receive! I have been working on this for awhile tonight and I THINK it's all running right, I need to find a way to do links to larger images, but this should do for now.

I'm not a web guy, so I'm sure this could be better, but should work for now. Can you guys take a peek and see if you see anything bugged out?

Re: Full Color Hot Toys Base Decals - Check em out!

It's going to be a toss up no matter what you do TBH if you are looking for full graphics, Even if I stayed in the "safe zone" between where 2 feet are placed, I'm not offering much more than Hot Toys is doing, a tiny logo in the middle. Most every base I have whether it be a HT factory base, an Evilface decal, or one of my own, parts are getting covered up, so IMO it's not a big deal. If I look at my Doc Holiday figure right now all I see on the EF base decal is "MBSTO" (TOMBSTONE) anyway.

Unless you cram a cool graphic of the character and slap a logo on top of his eyes, 1" wide, dead in the center you're going to run into similar issues.
Most likely with these evergreen properties I'll eventually do a more symetrical, centered up version 2, but I find these to be more fun, but subscribe and stay tuned as new things come along.

I personally think it will look great, but design is and always will be subjective :)

You missed what I meant. On that joker you have two focal points and they are both covered up. You can't have everything seen but since you are controlling the images you are using atleast have the focal points on the inner 50%.
