Since the day my Asajj PF arrived, I've really wanted a Dooku PF. However, gotta say that the sahpe of the ehad here is wrong and the overall likeness is not up to snuff by Sideshow's standards. I'm gonna reserve judgement until seeing the overall piece... but I gotta admit... this one isn't my fave.

I will remind you that comments such as some of the ones above are not welcome here. If you have nothing constructive to say, please refrain from commenting with "it's crap!" and such.

I will say that one of the most distinctive aspects of Lee's likeness is his aquiline nose - and we can't really see the shape of the nose in this picture. I don't see the likeness in this pic, but a profile shot could change that.

We may indeed see more Lee in a profile, but I don't know how that would fix the eyes, eyebrows, and overall shape of the face which are what is really throwing off the likeness.

I remember when sideshow listened to us about the Anakin PF. I think that the sculpt needs refining, you be surprised what a small change could do. If they just cut back some of the hair, thin the eyebrows and make hime a tad less full in the face, it could be spot on. It may just be a bad paint job.

I think there's time for this one to be a real rocking piece!

I actually think the likeness is pretty good. The eyebrows need darkened though. Easy pass for me though as I don't like the character enough to own a PF of him. Now that he is out of the way bring on the Stormtrooper! :rock

The more I look at it, the sculpt isn't that far off. The face needs to be a bit narrower and something is off on the eyes, but I simply took the Dooku PF picture and narrowed it a bit to make the profile a bit thinner and darkened the contrast and I think it looks alot more like Christopher Lee. With a couple tiny tweaks (and it might just be the photo), this might turn out to be a great PF.

I'll wait to see the whole thing but I'm not wow'd by the likeness so it'll depend on the rest. I'm hoping for a cape over one arm and lightsaber ignited in a fencing style "at the ready" pose where the blade would run parallel to the leg. Although I will say this....we are one step closer to Jedi Luke. :lol

True...but the whole picture is OFF...hair, mouth, nose...everything...

If you scroll down so the image cuts off through the bridge of the nose, the bottom half of the sculpt isn't bad.

It's a close-ish likeness and needs more work to get there but it's not as if this is so far off it looks like Susan Boyle. Again, more pics from different angles and pics of the raw sculpt could help.

I agree, but I think the thinness of that PS, and the ref pic, is a bit extreme.
The sculpt does have a good Dooku vibe and attitude even if the likeness is off.

Love the new sig, Mike. Real girl + body paint = me likee. Thanks. :naughty

I'm sorry is that girl's shorts sprayed on? :monkey5 Also I think the sculpt looks more like Saruman than the great Count. Maybe it's how pale he looks.

Jedi Luke and RotJ Darth Vader are really the only Star Wars PFs that I would be interested in since Star Wars is not my main line. But I said that a long time ago and still ended up getting the Anakin EX PF and the Ventress EX PF, so if this ends up looking really good I would probably get it as well.

I am a bit confused. Is it extreme that I did it or just a bit extreme on the thinness of the PS? If it offends anyone that I did that I will delete the post, I was just trying to show that the sculpt really isn't that far off at all.

No, no. I like the photoshops people post! Clarification: it's too thin, IMO.
