I am really late to this party but I just bought Catwoman. Adam Hughes Catwoman is my favorite. I have a bunch of his signed prints and the Cover Run book. Catwoman is my favorite DC character despite the movie. Doesn't hurt that AH had Hepburn as his influence for her. That is just icing.

One day DC needs to release a high quality pf of AH Catwoman for me. But in the mean time the Cover Girls statue and bust will have to do.

Catwoman is my favorite too! I went to SDCC and was really fortunate to have Adam sketch a catwoman portrait in my Cover Run book! Highlight of my year!

Just received my Supergirl and she looks fantastic!

There's just a little bit of a lean to her right due to the peg not sitting as snug as it could but it isn't a big deal to me. Pretty odd also that Supergirl doesn't come with a CoA when all the others before did.

Got Supergirl today and I'm glad I picked her up. Mine also has a slight lean due to the loose peg, but it's not very noticeable unless you compare to a completely straight one. Paint is very clean except for some slightly sloppy edges. The face and emblem are virtually perfect though. I really like how the blue stands out. I would post pics, but all I have are a crappy cell phone camera lol. I'm running out of room to display these great statues!

Good to hear that the paint on the face is good...I hope when BBTS finally gets off it's duff and sends me mine that it looks good.

She looks good but I'm not a huge Supergirl fan.

Do I base my purchase on the auctal product or the source meterial?

Here's a close up pic.

You can see how cramped it's getting lol. I can probably fit one more, but I'm definitely getting AWW and HG. Maybe I'll move Supergirl up next to Batgirl, but I kind of like how she's up there alone looking down on the Gotham City Sirens haha.

Here's some pictures of my Supergirl.

Overall she's fantastic and the paintwork is pretty good, there's just a few places where the lines are a little sloppy. I think that's really gonna vary from statue to statue though.

Also I read a few people saying that they think her eyes are decals or stickers instead of being painted and I think it's true. I looked at mine closely and felt the eyes just a bit with my finger and I could tell the texture was similar to that of a sticker or decal. When I compared her to the others it became more obvious too.

Not too sure why they went that direction but it doesn't really bother me. The eyes have a glossy look to them so I like that aspect of it.

Beautiful pics Havok! Thanks for sharing them. Are you going to repaint this one? You know, to add some gloss to the hair? According to the pics I've seen it seems it is quite glossy already the way it is.

The face on Supergirl looks amazing. But thats the problem. Its faving up. So the best part of the statue really cant be seen at a decent angle.

And that wart on her knee looks aweful

I'm actually gonna skip putting a gloss on Supergirl's hair since the gloss tha's already on it is good. I was really surprised to see the gloss on the hair when I took it out actually.

I have all the Cover Girls to date except Batgirl which I'm skipping and it really is awesome looking at them all together. I'll be skipping the Armored Wonder Woman also so next up for me is Hawkgirl.

I base my buying decisions on both. If it is a phenomenal piece, and I kind of like the source material or character, even if I'm not really into the character, I will buy it. If I am really a big fan of the character, I still have high standards, so it must be well made, but even if it isn't stellar, I might buy it. This Supergirl is actually pretty nice, I would say a 9.4 out of 10, and if it had a bit more detail and perfect paint, I would give it a 9.9 to a 10 out of 10. The concept is great, great enough that the statue itself can fall a little short of what it could be and still be nice.
You only have so much room, though, so if you keep collecting, eventually you will be faced with having to sell your less desired pieces, and if you aren't sure that you love this piece now, you will sell it when you start running out of room.
