Here we go:

New customers from the following countries will need to complete a credit card verification/id for all orders over $300 prior to shipping: Japan, Singapore, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, & Puerto Rico.

My first order was well over that. :(

Puerto Rico isn't a country.:cuckoo:

Ah, this explains why they have never asked me for this. I've been a customer since 2004.

As long as all the information is there and it is an item that is ready to ship it'll be done the same day and it'll leave our warehouse in aobout 1 to 3 business days.

Update on the verification for orders over $300.00, this is for first time orders (so if you have a history with us and then have an order over $300.00 we will not ask for the info) for every country not just the ones listed - that needs to be updated. There are certain countries that have to send in verification forms whether the order is over $300.00 or not.

Keep in mind those correspondences ask you to fax the info in as an option to our secure fax line in customer service. There is a high rate of credit card fraud happening internationally. These are precautions to protect everyone. Once you are verified we normally don't bother you for such things on future purchases!!

There's always people like a friend of mine, who panick when they get an e-mail which he read as "if you don't send in a copy of your creditcard... we're going to cancel your much-anticipated order".
He sent in a full copy of his CC before reading the line about blacking everything but the last 4 digits out.

I'm not saying it wasn't his own responsibility to read the full e-mail first, which he should. Just saying how a well-intended request for information can be misread/ misinterpreted. I'm hoping for him that his CC info is safe.

its all good! we just worry when we get asked to show details like that, hehe, but as we could block out all the important bits then theres nothing to worry about :slap well im happy! sideshow are great!! the shipping to UK is like within 3 days! :yess:

I have since emailed the required details (blocking out all details except the 4 digits) and I have just placed my 3rd order with sideshow. Very happy!
