Dean, any plan on doing a head sculpt for the DX02... (with accurate neck, altough I wouldn't mind a neck-less head sculpt).. That would be awesome

I don't really think Hot Toys will improve the DX12 head sculpt, and as always PERS take the likeness off..

So an accurate (medix style) cowl for the DX02 would sell really well IMO.

Is the cowl the same? Obviously it cuts off under the chin and jaw but is the head piece itself still the same design?

On the DX12 versus DX02? No. DX12 cowl is much more accurate, but still not accurate enough IMO. I think the best way to do this is to actually buy a cowl from someone like hellskitchen and scan it.

I think he meant the BB and TDK cowls, if so, nope. They're pretty different.

They're similar but there's enough differences there. There's an actual list of the differences somewhere, I should be able to find it.

Just a reminder - the largest part of the cowl is almost done... After I get bale finished I will drop the lower half of his mug in the cowl.

Great! Is this the first time you posted this? I've never seen it before. Nice start. I want to replace the HT head soo bad. It's ridiculous that we even have to resort to a custom. The TF was their third attempt at the BB figure. The bad thing is they used the same ****ing mold from the TDK OC suit for the TF!! Such a missed opportunity.

Here is a comparison between the TDK cowl and the BB cowl.

They are pretty different in my opinion.

- The nose is shorter on the BB cowl, which means the cowl expose a bigger part of the face (that's why Batman looks like a duck sometimes).

- The eyebrows are different too. On TDK cowl the eyebrow is one thick line and in the BB cowl the eyebrow is two thin lines.

- Texture and color are differents. The TDK cowl looks like plastic or something solid and the BB one looks like rubber.

- Overall the Batman Begins cowl looks more fitted to the head, while the TDK cowl looks more like a shell..

- The back-side of the head is also different..

That's all I can see based on this picture.
