Cupcake's Clones

Hey everyone. Wanted to share some customs I've been working on.

Unfortunately, I missed the boat on Sideshow's clone troopers. I didn't start collecting until 2015, and while I picked up a couple on a whim at the time (P2 Rex and Echo), I didn't have a chance to get a lot of them, and now the prices are sort of crazy. Plus, I sort of hate the sideshow bodies (did a swap on Echo, actually), and I figured if I was going to do that anyway, why not make my own clones from scratch?

So I started working on a set to reproduce so I can make like Kamino and breed whatever clone variation I want. Still working through some tweaking and dialing in the measurements; my first two sets were made for bodies I then found out I cannot get more of, so I had to start reworking it all for a Worldbox narrow shoulder. But I'm getting there, and soon I should be able to make sets with relative ease.





For my first clone, I went with a 501st trooper, because the 501st was an invaluable resource for reference material. And because you HAVE to have a 501st trooper



For my second attempt, I went with something I thought nobody else might have: the 13th battalion, led by Jedi General Jaro Tapal. The execution of Order 66 was one of my favorite scenes in Jedi: Fallen Order.





I'm still deciding what to try for my 3rd clone, but I'm leaning towards Ahsoka's 332nd.

These are so cool! Your paint jobs look like they're straight out of the movie/game. Do you plan on selling sets?
I love the inclusion of Jedi Fallen Order one! Ahsoka's would be really cool. Any plans to do the Bad Batch?

Thanks, man! Yeah, once I get these all tweaked to the point where I'm satisfied, I'd be happy to help add some clones to other collectors' shelves.

As far as the Bad Batch goes, maybe. I'd love to have them as well, but their armor is rather unique, with big differences even from member to member. So it'd almost be like starting from scratch for each one.

I would definitely be down for a set of clone armor! Did you digitally make that yourself or buy scaled down files?

I've seen 1:1 digital prints available that may be able to be scaled down, I think that could be a good option. I'm still learning CAD so been looking into quick alternatives to still make cool figs. I'd love a Hunter from Bad Batch, he's my fave haha.

They're handmade. I created a pattern for the body. I cut the fabric and my wife sews them for me
