All NRDs on non-qualifying orders using the AVENGER code will be refunded. In this case the t and c was clear about the code being valid only for new sideshow account holders, therefore there was no mistake in the offering. The code was shared outside of the promotion and those that participated are expected to read the t and c prior to the code use.

I understand that many people wanted to 'try' it anyway. Hopefully they will understand when the order is canceled. Any clients that made multiple accounts to use the code as many times as they could will have those accounts canceled, which may unfortunately include their primary account as well.

We will be emailing everyone who did not qualify. No worries. Just wanted to remind everyone that we have many programs designed for account holders such as Rewards, direct discounts, and we have done double rewards deals. We have negotiated for a discount shipping rate with Fed ex. Plus we are ramping up our giveaways! We just launched one with a product giveaway and a gift of flowers for your mom! I hope that our sideshow freaks know we appreciate them!

That would suck... There's actually 2 active collectors in my family. Would be a bit of a nightmare if everything, including flexpay orders got cancelled.




That said... Some sort of percent discount sale for current SS fans would be appreciate, but I actually really miss Spooktacular. Last year's was a let down.

Well my Girlfriends order is legit. It's her name her address and her card. She has never had an account with SSC. So all the T&C were met.

At least SSC is being cool about it to those that just tried to get one past them. They could have been dicks and just canceled orders and not offered any consolation to anyone.

It would be a firestorm if they canceled existing accounts that have BD Mark 7 on PO, because someone tried to use other name and duplicate accounts for this coupon.

I was the one who posted this offer here, after receiving the email, but I did post the T&C in my OP. I'm sure there are plenty of people here who have never ordered from SSC and could have used the code legitimately.

If people ignored the T&C and "tried it anyway", nothing i can do about that. It's too bad SSC's system couldn't be set up to not allow this code to work on existing accounts. I wouldn't have thought that would be that difficult.

I didn't (couldn't) use this myself, as we have bought from SSC several times. But thought I would share it to A. Save some people some money and B. Bring some new clients to SSC. Isn't that the point?

It's too bad SSC's system couldn't be set up to not allow this code to work on existing accounts. I wouldn't have thought that would be that difficult.

If some people really did create a number of new accounts, then yeah, that's uncouth, but for everyone else, ain't no thang, I would think. Orders get cancelled and our expectations return to what they were before we inputted the code and placed those "what if" items in our carts.

We have no issue with the freak who shared the code here as long as the terms are posted AND people follow the T and C, if not they should not be surprised when things are canceled for not qualifying.

The problem is with the people that opened seven accounts to the same residence. It creates issues of credit card security, possible miss shipments, etc. Who do we talk to when they call in? What if one person gets irritated and cancels all the orders? (Yes, this happened prior to a divorce and party A canceled party B's orders. Yikes!) For people with multiple accounts, it is procedure to disable everything until we can figure out what is going on, which account is primary and who should be having access to it. Excess accounts will be canceled. If this is not the person's first offense in making duplicates accounts, then all accounts will be canceled. Very messy. Big Headache.

We have been collecting feedback and our programmers will be correcting these codes for next time.

I was tempted to try and order, but it seemed that they would just cancel, so I didn't place an order. Sideshow has had some nice discounts recently though, so it isn't too big of a loss. Glad Chicky is coming here and clearing everything up.
