If you miss one remember it's only $5.
Sideshow are awesome for doing this.
Remember they don't have to.

Just cleared my PM box for my unique code Alex :wink1:

That's why I was thinking it might be worth more, because people won't be as tied to the internet that day, for the most part. Unless maybe they do another large point email code.

The latter seems more probable... but at this point I'm not complaining as I've picked up $45 or $50 in RP since this recent campaign started :rock

I'm not complaining either, but they DID do several codes at Halloween that were bigger than $5, right? So it would be surprising to me if they don't do at least a couple more bigger ones.

Unfortunately for me, I missed out on just about all of the bigger ones at Halloween.

I'm grateful for the codes (I did manage to get the $15 one) but why do they all seem to be posted in the wee hours and only for such a short time? I was up until 01:00, last night, and just logged in at 07:30 (MST), today, and I still missed it. In contrast, the Halloween ones were all posted during working/normal hrs and were up for longer, IIRC. Bah!

This promotion is the 12 days of Christmas.

12 days of Christmas doesn't start until Christmas day and according to Sideshow, they have specific reveals/plans for that time, including web branding. This seems to be a more ambiguous holiday/Christmas giveaway period - maybe it will last until the new year, maybe it will end on Christmas day, maybe it will be over tomorrow...

I think it depends on their day maybe? I know Susan mentioned meetings yesterday, plus they put up a blog post and a featured collector. It probably doesn't seem like it takes a lot to put a code up but we don't know the backend of things.

I pretty much missed all the Halloween codes, that's because I was a n00b and had no idea it was going on until near the end LOL

You can't really comment on the times these are put up as people from all over the world are watching.
What's a good time for one isn't necessarily good time for another.

The majority of codes have gone up at 2am for me.

She has already said the times will vary to suit all time zones.

I wonder if they have the capability to put up a code that is only good for X number of uses? ie. The first 50 people to enter the code get it. That would be cool too. That way they could set a limit on the amount of $ they were giving away. These timed codes are virtually unlimited.

Yeah, I didn't know about the spook codes until today :lol I'll be keeping an eye out for them in the future :lecture

LOL goes to show what I know....even better, possibly then that would mean that the codes might continue after Christmas. I was assuming they would not.

Then the majority miss out :dunno

Think this is a good promotion as is...and pretty fair.

Halloween codes all went up during waking hrs and no-one had an issue with them. :p Either that or extend the time they're available for. I was up for 18 hrs of a 24 hr day... would've thought that would be enough to snag that doggone code! :lol

And anyway, you don't get to post posts telling people to be reasonable. Not after all your VAT code whinging! :lol

Waking hours? For you maybe.

Haven't had a good V.A.T rant for a while :lol
