I've got a few figures I'd like to sell but I'm sure not paying 25 bucks so I MIGHT sell something. If it was $10 or 15, maybe.

I've been selling my iron men and paid for the membership and sold four through here so far. Would have cost me like $90 on eBay and only cost me $25 on here.
The selling is much easier too, almost no one asking what's the lowest I'll take or messaging me to complain about a price.

Yeah, I mean if I managed to sell my stuff it would be worth it compared to Ebay, no hefty final value fees. No guarantee they would sell is what I'm saying. If they didn't I'd be paying $25 just to post some listings. Maybe I'll consider it again.

I keep them posted on eBay and here and figure they'll sell between the two locations. If you figure to sell only one figure at $250 it's already worth it

It's worth it by far. EBay has gotten so ridiculous with fees and seller restrictions. I've only had one issue as a buyer from a fellow freak and it was resolved. $25 is cheap compared to what people lose on eBay. Join the club

Also, from what I recall last year, Sideshow has that automatic countdown timer on their website, which ends at midnight Sunday night / Monday morning. Last year we were all waiting around in this thread to see if anything actually happened....and nothing happened. It's just a timer to count down to the day that it starts. I think they started doing stuff at 8:30 or 9:00 PST on that first day. So the timer is sort of misleading.

Despite earlier saying I didn't want to, I'm actually considering it now. Mainly because there will be no fees that I'd get on eBay. I hadn't thought about that aspect previously... Thanks for reminding me about it.

You can just do the math and set the price you want on eBay, fees included. You can also set a limit on a best offer, automatically cancelling low ballers.

Just be realistic as to what it is that you want to get. While you'd want to break even on some stuff, remember there's always going to be someone selling the same thing for cheaper out of desperation.

SSC is sadly full of guys that want a deal, and they will ask to lower the price more times than not. I don't blame them.

Yeah, I can understand trying to get a deal. If I sell on here I'd expect some "hey would you take this amount?" messages. Ideally, I'd like to make back the retail price I paid, remains to be seen whether that will happen or not.

I've also seen the opposite on here, guys selling for inflated Ebay prices. I saw someone selling the EX Ned Stark for like $350... The regular fig is $160. The exclusive Ice is NOT worth 200 bucks. Screw that noise.

so I managed to add "SPOOKY15" and "SP00KY15" to my Saved discounts on sideshow. They are 2 seperate codes, I used spooky15 on hot toys obi wan. Anyone think I'll be able to use sp00ky15 on something else?
