Be on the lookout! Sideshow just posted this on their Facebook! "There's a giveaway here, another on Twitter... and the next one is about to start... BUT WHERE?!"

Hmm, they use pretty much all of the social platforms, including instagram/pintrest/something called periscope? Gotta keep an eye on all of them I suppose.

Can someone explain to a newb, like me, what to look out for in Spooktacular? Other than the pumpkin carving and costume contests. What are the collectors looking out for, just promo codes? This will be my first Spooktacular and really don't order from Sideshow because the Cali sales tax and shipping adds quite a bit to the total price for me.

I've never even heard of Periscope.

It's a Live Video Broadcasting platform. Most likely they wont use this type of media, but who knows each year is different. If they want to gain followers they will.

There will be promo codes that you can redeem for 5.00 credit in your account. The codes expire anywhere between 5-30 minutes. Some will pop up on the Spooktacular page. Most of them will be through Social media .

I encourage those who are new to check a few pages back to get oriented to what spectacular is. Once this thing gets rolling, it will be crazy and you will want to have an idea before then. Baptism by fire!
