This is going to be a long night, I fear.

I miss the good ol' days, when we got two codes a day. Seems like it was just yesterday....

....when you didn't need to hunt for codes. They were practically handed right to you. Nor did you ever need to guess when codes were going to be posted. Susan would give you fair warning.

Ah, sweet, sweet yesterday.

Ugh, I hope a code goes up sometime within the hour. I can't stay awake all night to wait for a 5 dollar code. I've missed all of this weeks codes because of this!

Ah, sweet, sweet yesterday.

....when codes would last for what seemed like an entire day, instead of mere hours. During a time when the word 'expiration' was not in our vernacular, as code 'shelf life' was almost everlasting. It wasn't until the whole world knew of them would Sideshow allow them to expire. And then, and ONLY then, when every last SSC collector experienced the joy of redeeming that oh, so precious, $5 reward would they expire.

Memories of a better time, where have thou gone?

I wonder if Sideshow's technically violating minimum wage laws. Working the night shift for a mere $5 means we're getting paid less than the Chinese who make these toys...

....when, even in the remote chance you did miss a code, all was not lost. Oh, no, no, no. All was NOT lost for another was right around the corner. Within hours, Susan would fill those defeated spirits with new life. New hope. And she would broadcast such hope in the form of....a tweet. In 140 characters or less, she would breathe new life into all of us collectors, guiding us away from the savage code-collecting beasts we would inevitably become. An anchor to sanity.

Like reminiscing over photos of yesteryear, I shall never these memories.

Ok, 2:10 am here, I'm out. Yesterday's code looks like it was put up around 5am (PST) or so. I have an alarm set for 5:15, I'll check then. Don't worry, I'll have no problem passing right back out again.

Susan said something like "get used to those" when referring to early morning codes. So it wouldn't be too surprising to see one in the next 3-4 hours.

Night all.
