I appreciate the free rewards, but the discounts are lackluster. 10% off the Bruce armory? There were much better coupons earlier in the year. I hope the deals pick up during the next few days, I was willing to put in a couple orders.

It's disappointment. I can understand that. If you've ever done Spooks of old, you'd understand.

I caught the tail end of the great era of Spook. It was like a good Halloween party where there were fun games and prizes, and interaction, instead of just prizes on social media for retweets and reposts. We had Spook kits with special glasses to see hidden codes on the SSC site, that could be anywhere, even in long out of stock items. Popups on the SSC site and limited stock freebies could drop at any moment as Mort danced onto the screen, the race to find an answer from SSC chat riddles before others respond in real time, with live human beings. You really had a reason to stay up all night because they literally would pop in at all hours to do contests rather than program posts and tweets to go out at certain times.

It was just a really fun event whether you were winning or not. But, chances are you'd win something if you stuck with it because there weren't thousands of people competing. The reward points are a fantastic idea/addition to spook. But, the fun and excitement isn't what it used to be because of all the format changes. IMO of course. We do lament this every year now it seems...

Some gold is a copper alloy and copper is diamagnetic. Silver is as well.

No one bothered to ask if the wedding ring was made of gold.. Which is non-magentic, whether it's white, rose or yellow. Same with platinum.

Most gold is mixed with other metals. Unless it's 24 carat.

Woke me up at 03:10 then I missed the following code

Was it a $5 or $10 code?

I sent the BAT10 coupon (10% off Batman Armory w/ Bruce Wayne & Alfred) + free shipping + $93.75 reward points

Then this was quickly followed by the L4Rx9J $5 code which lasted about 40 mins. It was posted on Sideshow's Facebook.

Apparently, there was also another $5 code @ 1AM.

Which doesn't make a difference for the purposes of magnetism and MRI machines according to the people that run those machines.

They make me remove everything.

There is no such thing as white gold. It's gold plated with nikel, which i think is magnetic.

Yeah, I just did a google search and gold rings are usually exempt from having to be removed.

Just did a quick search and as expected, gold/platinum rings are clearly listed on multiple imaging center sites as exceptions. The most curious find in that search was the realization that there are a lot of people out there that don't know what makes something magnetic - a lot of people think that anything metallic is magnetic.

I guess I should have read your post before doing my own search...heh.
