Sideshow is doing a bunch of social promotions on Facebook and Twitter right now. They post promo codes that are only valid for X amount of hours. It's the collector's job to find them and claim them. Sideshow isn't sending out email notifications or anything like that. On the boards here, a community system (via a listserv) was devised to help notify as many people as possible, once a code was posted.

I would help you out, Nick, but you do NOT want to rely on me. I woke up to this code with about 10 minutes or so remaining.

I think that people shouldn't be upset if they miss one or two. Clearly the intention here is for everyone to get them by doing them at different times.

Like the last 2 codes. Here in the UK we had one at 2am and then 10am. The first was clearly intended for the US/Can and then the second was in the middle of the night in the US but in the morning for Europe.

So unless you want to wake up in the middle of the night you just need to accept it. Thankfully i got home late last night from a party so was up to grab the code but i've missed two myself by minutes that were posted in the middle of the night here.

Really great Sideshow is doing this. I've broken my Spook total in codes. Even if that was the last one i'm really happy and will put it toward something nice

You guys that are getting all of those are machines! I've missed at least 600 points from this promotion (and most of the spook ones). That includes a number from the middle of the day.

The email alert served its purpose in the middle of the night however, it also gave me an opportunity to get a drink of water - I was really thirsty.

I got an email at 02:40, entered the code and went back to sleep. The wife woke me at 08:30 banging about. Turns out she didn't manage to get back to sleep
