Marvel wins with movies. DC wins with comics, animated movies and video games (at least with Injustice). IMO.

I feel like you need to read up and learn just what constitutes an opinion and what constitutes a fact. Would probably clear up your confusion.

I do understand what your trying to say, truly. And I agree the characters from the pages are timeless, but that isn't what I have been trying to address.

Oh I know, I only buy DC and a few independents every week. Marvel has a long way to go before I buy a current issue from them.

I feel the same way. Every time I pic up a few marvel comics, I get pretty bored and disappointed and just waiting for the issue to be over. But I buy all the DC Super titles, Wonder Woman, The Flash and Justice League. Sometimes some Batman here and there. I will admit that The anew Superman series is lame IMO but other wise, DC titles interest me more. However, I did enjoy '90s Marvel quite a bit but that could be b/c of the cartoons too

The Arkham series , and the Telltale Wolf Among Us and Batman series are just brilliant and worth your time as well.

The Arkham series , and the Telltale Wolf Among Us and Batman series are just brilliant and worth your time as well.

Yeah some comics are garbage , but some are also pretty good . Comics are like a box of chocolates....

Agreed. Both the Thor movies come to mind as needs improvement. But more generally speaking, Marvel has their game together.

There's a reason I stopped reading Marvel years ago.

Right now the only Marvel comic I'm reading is Old Man Logan which takes place in a distant corner isolated from most of the aforementioned nonsense.

The MCU is pretty incredible so far .... I just hope they actually have the movies cameo or acknowledge the Netflix MCU in some way ...

Add in the lazy, re-hashing of already successful stories and it's just nonsense.

When Bendis is writing his own, unique characters he's awesome but his takes on already established superheroes just isn't for me.
