Waiting till I get home to watch JL trailer in 4k. Should I be super excited?

As a comic book super fan. I always feel we are fortunate to have these on the big screen. I mean is it the greatest, no. But it's all we got.

What else could you expect from that hack Snyder.

I don't understand the love Zach gets considering what he's delivered. I guess its because he gave many boys a lot of JO material in SuckerPunch and they are forever grateful.

He's a great visualist -- should have been an Art Director or Cinematographer. He's a terrible storyteller.

This is why 300 was pretty good - he wasn't in charge of narrative, if I remember right.

I loved BVS and Wonder Woman. Squad was DCEU's only misfire. This looks absolutely fantastic. Zack makes "graphic novel" movies, not comic book movies for babies and man-children. Iron Bug Boy: Homecrapping is the first Marvel movie I refuse to go see since the MCU started, because it obviously craps all over the character and was made by a director who clearly has never had any interest in comic books. That 4-minute preview they released with an immature, hyperactive Peter Parker carelessly recording his secret identity on film and trading stupid one-liners with Iron Man's supporting cast was utterly sad and retarded.

The extended BVS is not at all "exposition." The movie is an exploration of character and a philosophical deconstruction of the superhero. Dialogue scenes are not automatically classified as "exposition." That is how you delve deeper into character. Watching a complex story take its time to unfold, develop and reveal itself is what good storytelling is about. BVS took the Watchmen approach to its story. It's aimed at adults who like to think.

My thoughts:
To judge any movie based solely on a teaser, to me, isn't fair. See Spiderman Homecoming, then comment on it. I saw it, and liked the lighthearted "Guardians of The Galaxy" approach. He's fifteen in this movie, and we get to see him growing as a unique version of Peter.
You are absolutely right about BvS. I love the character development, and I feel it was even deeper in the Ultimate Edition. The story is very well written and I really like the presentation.

Trailer looks good to me. But then again, I like most of the widely hated movies, so what do I know
Right?! I like them all. Sure I have my complaints here and there but overall I enjoy most movies.

I don't hate JL. I don't trust DC/Warners. Looks like the rest which I did not enjoy, so one makes protective assumptions based on previous experience. That's called learning.
