As long as you have your phone etc on you with notifications on from multiple sources (both forums etc), it's quite easy to get some of the codes at least.

But of course sleep and other commitments should take priority over $1 & $2 codes.

You have to remember that not everyone lives in the USA, let alone in the same timezones. And if not during their work hours in which their staff can manage their online presence (even when things are supposedly automated), then when should they do it?

Unfortunately no matter the time they do it, someone will have an issue with it.
