I chatted with Paul a little bit. He really doesn't want to talk about Rewards via PMs anymore (I'm apparently far from the only person who's been doing that), and he asked me to send an email to the sideshow social email, to which they have not responded. Anyway, he didn't state this explicitly, but I think it's pretty clear at this point that the $3 many of us got last Saturday was the Cobbled Cosplay voting rewards after all. If by some chance somebody didn't vote in Cobbled Cosplay on Anime Day and got the $3 anyway, they should probably consider themselves lucky.

I just got an email with a $3 promo code, sdccxxxxxx that expires in 1 week? When I click on it it says added to account. It doesn't show under my SS rewards, but promo codes. Then when I go into promo codes to apply it says it already hit its usage limit??

When that happens, they usually sent you a recycled code. Instead of copying and pasting the code, click the "Redeem Now" or "View Eligible Items". Doing so, will generate you a new code. If you have only a "Shop Now" link, it may not work and you will have to contact CS.

They say they expire in a week, but it must be two weeks as they show up under my Sideshow Notifications as messages a week later, warning me that the promo codes are expiring in one week.

Looks like they do that every time they email reward points as a promo code.

The last notification, three hours ago, begins SCDC and was the $3 rewards we thought came from the Anime Cobbled Cosplay.

The previous one, two days ago, was ANIME for $2, which was $2 the lottery win.

Strange that either they're mixing up the two events, or just not paying out for the Anime participation.

Same. The SCDC code showed up in my account notifications earlier (didn't receive an email), but when I try to redeem says code has hit its usage limit.

I think those are notifications for codes they already emailed. Just to remind you to claim them before they run out.

I got an e-mail yesterday as well. The code was the reward for the Sideshow Con DC Trivia which I’d already received and added to my account. I would imagine your situation is similar. No idea why SS would be sending out emails now. There must be a glitch in the Matrix.

I wasn't gonna bother, but then decided it was worth a shot to send a message. So many trivia streams I've participated in and never got squat for.

An extra $3 for their mistake won't hurt them, nor will it really add much to me. So if they tell me to sod off no biggie. But, you never know unless you try..
