After playing it three times now, I can tell you the last coin appears just around the Sideshow logo thing, jump up that area and to the left to find it.

Okay, I'm with you at 284. I just found Mort on the outside of the castle. I'm missing 1 last coin as well. There has to be some hidden drop or something, I can't seem to see it anywhere (unless it's outside hidden with the yellow sun background). Almost there!!! I like to earn these rewards haha
