I'm back at the game now to try for all the coins. I'm going to try to post notes as I play along to help, maybe others can confirm it as well. So far, outside the castle in the light area (and up the tunnel right at the entrance to get to the top area), I've collected a total of 89 coins I think. I had 90 but I might've gotten one entering the castle by accident.

Continuing down only the lower-most level up until the Sideshow heart, I have accumulated 124 total.

I ran through the game 5 times. I tried keeping track but it's difficult to keep track. On the right side of the map, I kept getting 88 coins.

yeah, there are so many different areas haha. I actually figured out where the last coin was on this playthrough. It's by the earlier top elevator bumping thing where you have to jump a little early to fall into the right place to get it. The problem is, I don't know how to get back to that area lol. Yeah, I think it was 88 or 89, I went in by accident so I may have grabbed 1 or 2 coins before dying to restart and finish the outside area.

Finally got it! Had to get back to the sideshow apple which I forgot how to for a long minute. Go up that tunnel there to the right and there's the elevator you have to bounce off of and then jump early off the platform so you fall and grab the closest coin during the drop. IT would be above that teal/green Sideshow ghost character. Do you need a code?
