I'll wait until it says so...

I'm definitely waiting until it says rewards for registering. No real reason to register otherwise.

Well Terrifier is a torture **** film, lots of gore if you like that sort of thing (I don't anymore) . Also ****s but then they start cutting them up and just nope, not for me. Lots of stupid characters and bad acting but a competently made B grade slasher movie.
The highlight of my watch through was a police chase that zoomed past my house, can't tell you if the Fratellis got away or not.
Had to wash that out of my brain with some good old fashion 1925 Phantom of the Opera.
Then I spent my $93 saved up in reward points on the Regula One Lt. Saavik pre-order! Good finish to my Halloween.

I wondered where you were going with that, and guessed you'd posted in the wrong thread until you got to the last sentence. :lol

(I've gone off gore as well. Nowadays I prefer creepy, atmospheric horror instead).

I hate that I'm letting the $25 in short-term Phoney Phantoms rewards dictate my next move right now. I suddenly have this urge to spend all Spook points before 12/10, rather than letting them build up to a free figure like I normally do. But it burns us too much to watch the $25 disappear. Burnsss usssss.

Just a follow up to my post from last night (should've quoted it). This has become the default Halloween thread at the moment.

Last night is a bit of blur.

I was watching the last two parts of The Enfield Poltergeist while keeping one eye on my tablet with this thread open, so I could catch the reward codes.

It all ended at about 2 AM.

IMO you should only use them on something you were planning on pre-ordering or eventually buying anyway - in no way should they dictate what you're going to do. I've let many $20 & $25 promo codes expire because they arrived when there was nothing new that I was interested in getting. Those short-term rewards should be treated in the same manner.

You know, that's a really good point. I often let those CONTEST promo codes expire, because they are rarely eligible for something I want at the time. I did have to play that damn game to get these, though, so there was a little more effort involved than entering my email into a form. But you're absolutely right.

Last night I had the somewhat agonizing decision to let a free Grogu pass. Because the other code didn't apply if you took that deal. NOW on the face it would seem to be a no brainer go for the free item. But thanks to shipping, tax AND loss of the code it wasn't nearly as good a deal when you ran the numbers, and ultimately I had to pass. Sideshow has become so complicated in their rules and disqualifiers that I actively dread going through their checkout. It certainly doesnt help that I'm seldom thinking at my best at the time what with sleep deprivation and all that 😆

Which reminds me, going back over some old posts in the thread. Does using a coupon code still disqualify any rewards earned on that purchase, or did they change that rule a while back?

You get rewards based on what you pay out of pocket. So using any rewards and or coupons lower the amount, but you'll still get rewards unless the item is totally free.

So say if a $260 item got reduced to $100 after using a combo of rewards and a coupon (totaling $160), you'd still get rewards on the $100, which would be $5.
