So no $20 discount code for November :gah:

Come on Sideshow, i have another 3 items i want to preorder :impatient:

I may be interested in ordering 2x of an item or 3 separate items to use the coupon but when I put them in my cart, the shipping costs are of each individual item added together and I was wondering if Sideshow does combined shipping so that I could save on all the costs?

For example, if I were to purchase 2 Sideshow Stands, the cost of shipping for one stand is almost $10 so if I order 2, it lists it as $20 which is ridiculous since it is a very light object.

I noticed that too, I wanted to order 5 stands with reward points but it ended up being 80 bucks after shipping. It was a joke. Ten bucks to ship a figure stand? I didn't do it and ended up getting that same amount on eBay for 30 bucks.

Yeah, I think their system is reading it as if they are all shipping individually. I don't understand why they can't package them together in one box so buyers can save on the shipping costs. I mean the shipping for a stand is almost the price for shipping of a boxed figure now, and the Action TT stand shipping is $15-$20 I think and I doubt that thing is as big as a boxed figure either.

Their "discount codes" are an absolute joke. $25 off a $3-400 statue where I lose my rewards points and I can't combine with the rewards points Ive earned? So it's basically worth $7-10 bucks in savings. Whoop dee doo.

Yeah and they apply only to items that nobody really wants. Sometimes I wonder why I even bother keeping those codes.

depends on what you buy.

someone buying a $99 Yoda figure, gets it for about $85 shipped after the $25 off coupon. lose $5 in reward points...

I used it on a $215 hot toys figure, $225 shipped, $200 after coupon. much better than reward points and it was an item I don't think will be discounted in the future (could be wrong).

on a $300+ statue or other item, they are not worth it, especially if the item has free shipping, better to take free shipping and reward points than use the coupon.

Weren't the Action TT Turntable stand and the Sideshow Collectibles stand on the coupon eligible list of items a few days ago? I swear I saw them on the list after scrolling down towards the bottom, but now Sideshow says they're not! I smell something funny here....

I'm having the same issue. I tried to use the code to order a Hot Toys Amber and it says it's in my wallet but when I try to checkout it is no longer there. I then added it manually and now it says the item is not eligible. It was yesterday.

I guess I waited too longer or something.

I waited because I was unsure about what I wanted to use it on. Now that I know I would like to order an Amber I guess I'm out of luck. Oh well; I guess I'll wait for Sideshow to start giving her away like Angelica.

*UPDATE*

I just tried it with the 1/6 Yoda, which I know people on this thread have successfully used the code to purchase, and I am getting the same error. I guess the code has expired.
Well now that I can't buy anything with the Cyber Monday promo code on Sideshow's website let me just mosey on over the Toy Anxiety or Black Ops Toys and take advantage of their Cyber Monday promos.

It expired on December 2nd "at some point" - sounds like it was midnight EST (which is technically the 3rd) or earlier.

That was my understanding, too until I read the fine print:

*This $25 gift card code can only be used once per account / household. Offer good only on new In-Stock orders of $50.00 or more, after gift card is applied. This gift card code is not redeemable for cash and cannot be combined with any other site discounts, FREE shipping deals, reward points, gift certificates, gift cards, even if checkout allows it. This gift card code will expire on December 4th, 2013, at 11:59PM (GMT), or while supplies last.

Is there a chance this is a new promo that now lasts until the 4th?

Ok now can we get a December $20 code that we can use on preorders. Pleassse? I want to give you my money Sideshow! :gah:

I was thinking about using it on Wolverine. If I get the money together soon enough, I'll try it on Mandarin.

Just tried it on Wolverine and can confirm it doesn't work :gah:

It works on Man of Steel but i'm not 100% sure i want it yet. Need a couple of days to decide what to use it on. Glad we have a new code :clap
