Everyone nowadays has their faces glued to a phone or device. No one ever looks up while walking anymore, haha. It's all a waste of time to me, but then again, I'm mostly preoccupied doing something anyhow. When that worldwide EMP hits, or the zombie apocalypse happens... haha j/k j/k

What does suck is that you can't combine....imagine if you could take the current $20 off code AND use reward points on the same order. Now that would be incredible.

In my fantasy world, they put an offer up like that for one day, on Christmas day. But that's just my pipe dream.

This is how I would change Sideshow's coupon policy to make it better for the consumer, yet still quite fair for the retailer.

Keep: No combining rewards and coupons or discount codes
Change: Reward points accumulated for every non-discount dollar spent, for all transactions, including ones where you use reward points, coupons or any kind of discount.
Change: combine shipping when ordering multiple items.

Example: $200 item plus $10 shipping and you use $50 worth of discounts (whichever one, it doesn't matter). You earn rewards on $160, the amount of money you actually spent.


Done. And fair. I'd buy more from Sideshow directly with this kind of setup. AT the moment I usually wait until I have some kind of discount and then only get one item.

I agree. I don't think anyone is really complaining, but rather suggesting what could attract even more customers since other companies do those things.

Good, I'm about to head to the airport and fly across country so I'll be more limited today. They're all supposed to be gone from 11am - 3pm PST today, so if there is a code, it will either be in the next 45 minutes, or not for another 4:45.

Once either in Spook or on Black Friday they let you use two coupon codes for a single order. But as far as I know they only did that once.

I'd argue it would make them more $$$. Many ppl order outside of sideshow bc of things like combined shipping offered elsewhere and taxes not being taken out. A little perk like giving rewards points on money spent, even when using a coupon or points, may cost them an extra $5-15 on an order, but encourages another order later on they might not have gotten from that customer. Give me my $20 off an $10 of rewards points now, I'm more like to spend $200 on the next predator with them instead of going through bbts. As it stands, I like to order from ssc because they are close and I like being able to get replacement parts easily. However, financially, it only really makes sense to order from them when I am getting an exclusive item or flexing a really expensive one. Otherwise I am ordering from bbts. A $20 coupon generally doesn't cover tax and shipping and even after $20 off, bbts is a cheaper option. If ssc still gave me rewards points when I use a coupon, that's incentive for me to make that order with them instead of bbts AND make another order down the line.
