All of my marines have been fairly heavily modified, and I'm not sure if that would make them more or less valuable than unopened ones (probably less). It's funny that the star of the movie Ripley goes for the least money.
Does anyone remember how much Standec's Hicks went for? The addition of the FML sculpt would have increased its price but then again, that was one of the best custom figs ever.

I guess no one wants Ripley so badly cos:

a) People want the power-loader set instead
b) she just looks like a civilian with a big gun, nothing really interesting
c) Her head sculpt is pretty whack and that's esp important for a lead character played by a A list actress.
d) she doesnt have armour that can be used for other custom projects (I already have Hudson etc but would have bought another fig I already have just so I could have the armour for customising)

I was lucky enough to get a complete Hicks for $90 last summer through a good friend who hooked me up with an extra. I most likely never would have got one if I had to pay the going rate on Ebay. Obviously this was a unbelievable deal but if you are patient and keep looking you can find good deals from time to time.
