The first five are ready to ship already.. ( ahead of my 2 week lead time) I should get to the post around 1400 hrs today.. Here's some new pics of the production version before I lightly weather them with chalks... I plan on updating my web page to showcase these this week with better photos and shots of them in a figures hand, hanging from the belt etc...

1/4 scale whips would be a huge help for detailing the PF... just have to source materials I guess... add that to the never ending list of stuff I wanna do :) !

DO IT!!! :naughty

P.S., any news on the custom 1/4 sidebags you and faststreets were working on doing? I'd love those for my KOTCS and ROTLA PF Indy's! :rock :rock :rock

Good lord Mike... I'm astonished by how well these turned out! I have a feeling, being my first real custom 1/6 accessory, that this is a long and slippery slope...

You're in for it now SkyIScrape...especially when it comes to Mike's awesome customs...his belt, holster and whip keeper is a MUST HAVE for any 1/6 (or 1/4) Indy...these bullwhips look to be nothing short of that as well! :D

in the end I am pleased with this project... seems to have come out pretty good now that I have tweaked it here and there... at the moment I am working on getting the details worked out on 1/6 KOTCS warehouse rates.. ( getting stencils made).. after that I want to tackle my own grail diary sets with not only inserts but various Indy photos, maps etc.. pretty much one big paper accessories set in 1/6.. we'll see... just to advise.. the following had their whips mailed TODAY :
D.Pisano
J.Corkerry
A.Falk
J.Harvey
M.Kavanagh

Yeah I've been eyeing them pretty regularly. I'm going to go ahead and order them when I've got some extra cash, but first I'd like to find someone locally who can repaint the Indy head... after seeing everyone elses customs, the factory paint bothers me more and more. Speaking about the 1/4 scale, when the TOD PF comes out... Mike will be getting an email!

I have discussed with Mike regarding the 1/4 scale bags. I feel that the price that we would have to charge would sound to high to most people. You have to understand, I have $3,000. USD invested into upgrading my Raiders PF (not that I would use any of that to try to get that back -- that spending was a pleasure). I have almost $1,000. USD invested in creating (OK, participating in the creation) of a jacket for the PF (more on that this weekend).

The sidebags are not an easy thing. Miss Lee here in Hong Kong would have to make them, and she is retiring within 6 months. Once she makes them, I have to ship them to Mike for a color upgrade and his awesome leather strap plus numerous other upgrades that he does. In the end, they wind up costing about $80. USD. (before shipping costs). We know that most people would say that is too much, so we have haven't pursued it any further.

And, at $80. USD, no one involved would be making a penny, actual, I would have to eat the shipping costs from Hong Kong to the States. Then again, Mike and I aren't in this to "make money", we both love Indy and want the most screen accurate items possible. Just like with his new 1/6 scale whips, we are all lucky to have Mike's time & skills. In the end, Mike & I are fans, he has all the talent, I just know the costume lady here in Hong Kong and have BEGGED Mike to pursue the enhanced sidbags for several months.

If someone is really interested, please contact Mike ...

But if it does happen, it would take time.

The drain holes custom made by Mike (my photos stink, they actual look perfect!!!):

The color comparison, the final one by Mike is on the right:
