New update =]

Added some more things to the base, got the gum painted, cigarettes are now glued down.

Getting closer and closer to the finished product =D

added some more to the base, the white stuff at the back is vallejo water effects, will dry to clear after a few hours.

I'm also thinking of adding a gas cannister to the base, what do you guys think of that idea, will it look good, or d'you think it will end up looking a bit busy?

looks great man , I think I would leave it as it is. The figure needs to be the main focus point ( even if the base is awesome ) so I think it could look a little busy like you mentioned.

The metal pipe is a 1/4" pastruct plastic pipe

I probably won't be able to update until friday or saturday as I need to go to hobbycraft for something

Very small update, here's the basic shape of the light I'm going to be adding to the diorama

A bit blurry, but y'can see the shape.

It's made from the lid of a trash can I bought to do a diorama base for my action figures that's been modified, and half of a clear plastic bauble I found in a craft shop

It will be lit with a single LED, wires running up through the pipe and a battery pack hidden on the back of the wall.

Ok guys, I'm gonna be purchasing the LEDs I need to light this, and I was wondering if you guys would mind giving me some input?

I'm not sure on the colour of LED I should get, but Im thinking one of the following:

Orange
White
Red
Green
Purple


I'm leaning more towards orange, as I think it may look good with the figure and the base itself, but I'm not entirely set.

So, what I'd like input on is, what d'you guys think I should go with in terms of LED colour?

I think red or purple would look good.
Great looking base there is so much details.

as far as the lighting goes you could always try a few shades of different colored cellophane inside the "glass" and keep the light white. that way your electronics are in place and you can try several different tints without a lot of problem.........just MHO of course...

Ok guys, I've scrapped the light idea, and replaced it with a pipe, burst through the wall, dripping water down, once it has dried, the base is complete!

Will get photos later on.

The Bank robber is merely keeping the base warm until I get my MMS DX, as I am planning on making a bank style base for the bank robber and bank manager custom I'm working on

Looking great buddy! But i have the feeling that your dio is a bit out of proportion with the figs! Without the figs it looks perfect but with the figs on your background look a bit small!
Jut my 2 cents! Still amazing work!
