Can't wait to see your Swordsman! I have that one on-the-bench myself waiting for my attention. I was thinking to keep the head and turban but upgrade with a new taller body, new red sash, and new material around the waist to make up for the height change. If you found better parts I would love to know your recipe.

That head is pretty pretty pretty tiny, especially on a tall bod.

So are you using the Hasbro head or not? I know its tiny, even tiny on its original body... but the turban kind of hides it. I haven't put it on a taller body yet but I'm hoping it will work well enough. I don't want to spend too much on this 17 second character.

Also, he does where little black Aladdin shoes in the movie. You can see them in stills. So you should keep the Hasbro shoes.

Well... it has been awhile... about 6 years...

...but I have once again updated my GERMAN MECHANIC.


I actually did this upgrade nearly a year ago now but never posted. For about the last 10 months, I have been on a customizing craze with "Raiders of the Lost Ark" and I have finished 6 characters that I have been planning to bash and/or upgrade for years and years. Anyway, I felt it was time to finally reveal this guy before he moves into the "needs an upgrade" category all over again.

These figures are always works-in-progress, so if you have any advice for me please let me know...
