I hesitate to introduce this and I'm not even part of the Krusade, but now that someone kindly posted pictures of Sideshow's Highlander figures with a comic book in the pose-off thread, it's clear that Sideshow's Kurgan isn't a poor likeness, it's just based on the comic book image. I think Clancy Brown controls rights to his image -- surprising to me, but I suppose if someone's passionate about not being a toy, the producer might just say oh what the hell, sure.

Hair can be added to a resin head later. I'd consider a bald Clancy Brown likeness that could be modified for Kurgan, for Brother Justin from Carnivale, for his mysterious "Inman" characters in Lost...didn't he play Frankenstein's monster once, opposite Sting as the doctor?

Okay, Kurganites, breathe deeply, hold it in...you don't want to scare anyone with the mighty force of your f'ng enthusiasm...

Grab one from Lonnie at Frontline. He does an excellent Kurgan. Its the Modern one with the shaved head so it only requires a bit of sanding to make completely bald.

Should we then assume that, as was feared, Sideshow itself will never offer us an "official" Ygor?

to 'assume' makes an 'ass' out of 'u' and 'me'
hahahah:lol

i'm sure those are just the heads andy wish he could've have done for the 1:6 scale line for sideshow! ^^
if only :D

And what have you been up to? Haven't seen anything from you in quite a while.
quite simply... school!

I'd like to see some new licenses from SIdeshow that aren't so sci-fi or horror related, but something...more common :)

Clancy did indeed play the monster in"The Bride", opposite Sting, Jennifer Beales and David Rappaport. An interesting take on the story, though as usual a lot of character names got switched around( the monster is Victor, the Dr. is Charles etc.). As for custom work, sculptors(like me) are out there;you just have to get in touch with them and wave sufficient green under their noses to attract their interest...PS
