I thought they got an Elder pretty damn good. But, he is doing a Scar, so it is different from what Hot toys did. So, you can't really say that he did something better than Hot Toys, when they haven't even done a Scar with open mandibles.

nah, all of their AVP predators look cartoony compared to their newer P2/AVPR preds. what this guy did was at least make an attempt to fix their scar sculpt.
the head and dreads are still too big, but at least his face sculpt looks much better.
and yeah, the anicom one had the open mandibles. still looked like crap. he probably used an elder because it's much cheaper than using the anicom.

Very nice repaint! But his paint suffers from the exact same issue the AvP preds did....its dry! Gotta put some gloss on that sucka!

I did, made it out of an AVP Elder and P2 Elder.....check out my custom thread....in fact just posted my most recent predator 1 update...been doing human kitbashes which isn't as exciting but the base worked out well :chew

It looks glossy enough to me. especially in the last pictures.

Actually that hadn't crossed my mind, I do have a spare P2 predator so could mod that but would need to get hold of p2 elder armour.....hum, set me thinking now......could just take the one I have made and do a special head for it ala sideshow...
