I think the best method would probably be DIY with water based ink, it's pretty easy to do, and I think in such a small scale the ink would be easier to dry.
If you have access to a color inkjet printer and a graphics program, you could probably print an iron on transfer and do it that way. Here's the sort of paper you need:
I tried the iron on transfer for a tie and it worked not at all.. I'm trying it again for a shirt but the design covers the entire shirt so im not so sure it's going to work out but we will see...
does anyone know a way to kind of distress it once it's on? I dont want this shirt to have the shiny sheen of the iron on transfer.
Iron-on paper looks like it's worth a shot. Thanks for the info. Wanted this to look like a weathered screen print as well. Imagine heating and crumpling would cause some cracks.
