Yeah, another thread. ;) :lol

A while back I bought another white Medicom Clone and sent it to Josh (DA) to be turned into a shocktrooper. Got it back today and man does this thing kick butt. The job Josh did on this really is just amazing and this is how I want all clones to look. He matched everything I wanted and even added a couple things.

So I thank you Josh for doing another kick ass job. I can't wait to see how Obi-Wan comes our and send you the second Indy I have coming.

If I could only have one clone (and I haven't taken that deep plunge yet as I'm hopeful that SSC's will be much more affordable--as well as other "stuff") it'd still be the 501st and I'd definitely get two to flank Darth's march into the Jedi Temple.

must you create a thread everyti.........:monkey3...........scratch that josh.............THAT FIGURE KICKS A$$..............:rock :rock :rock :rock
hurricane special?
edit:................i really need to actually read posts closer.
DA did a very nice job on the trooper.

I expect SS to come in a bit cheaper. I love Clones. They're all really cool looking and the 501st is my fave as well.

Barry-Yeah, this one comes from Josh.

I'm kind of Clone happy:

As always, DA did an awesome job. Congrats, Josh, on your troopers. They all look pretty cool.

You've got as many Clones as me! I really gotta get a pair of 501st in some way shape or form. They are so badass!:chew

I really like the cracked lense on Josh's Shocktrooper, brings a lot of character and indivuality to an otherwise uniform character. Great craftsmanship!

Yeah, I like the cracked lense too. That was an addition Josh went with and it works!

Thnx for the kind words guys! I'm quite glad to have them.

Looks great, I like the darker Red he used... the Medicom one looks too pale to me. And of course the weathering really seals the deal :rock

The battle-damage on this one kind of gives it a 2D effect like a comic book.

Thanks a lot guys! I'm glad you liked it so much Josh, really took me a loooong time to get that red to go on thick enough to cover the white. The store I get my paint from was out of my normal red and only had another version that was a bit thinner than normal. SO it took me like 20 coats, half a bottle.. to cover it. And the white still shows through a bit. But I like to think it adds to the weathering.

And Sachiel, I know what you mean. It's a tightrope I have to walk with the weathering. And my PRIMARY reason for disliking the Medicom soft armor. It's too soft to accept gouges and dings like I would really want to do. So I have to use a technique I used in my comic book days.. Darkness on light areas and light marks on dark areas... It's a great optical illusion that works quite well I think. :D

Great shots Josh, I'm very happy to have my work in there with Hurricane on your shelf. :rock
