Here is my third (and hopefully last) rendition of Snake Plissken. I found this bootleg figure on Ebay "Plissken Escape" that another member on here recently used for a custom. The outfit and accessories were the main selling point for me, I thought the head sculpt looked lame.... until I got it. With a repaint, it turned out to be a really, really nice sculpt. I had wanted to use a Comedian body, but they are so bloody expensive!! I settled on a Wesker body. Yeah you can see the joints, but Snake was a pretty lean guy so I think it works well enough. I then weatherd the pants and the jacket and he was ready to go... I'm finally happy with it!

Thanks guys! Believe it or not, this is what the head looked like straight out of the box...

Who would have thought there was a decent sculpt buried underneath there??

Snake looks terrific!

May I ask how you went about weathering the jacket? It looks completely different and so much better!

Sure! I gave it a good drybrushing with a darker brown paint, covering most of the original color. I then went over the various edges with a yellowish beige to bring out the seams and make them look worn. Then I took a nail file to areas of it to bring out some of the original color.

Your skills just keeps getting better and better and this is awesome.
