The Cyclops PF has been a WIP for over a year and a 1/2 now. We saw our first sculpt at the 2009 SDCC. We saw the pictures of the completed PF at the SDCC 2010 and were told it would be up for preorder "soon." We were told on the Facebook page that he would be up for preorder in October. Yet, still nothing and from the looks of the Black Friday shadows, we won't see him next week.

As of right now, I only have ONE thing on preorder with you guys (Ms. Marvel PF) and I usually have 5+. Does Sideshow not want my money anymore? :dunno

Can someone simply confirm or deny that he will be up for preorder in 2010?

Would be interested to know more about this as well.

Also, if you can pass it along Dusty can you make the jacket removable? Much appreciated.

Cyclops PF... as far as my sources can tell me, the best intention is that it will be ready to debut by the end of December :duff (and I *think* the jacket will be removable, but don't quote me 100% on that quite yet - ;) - just reassuring you that your request is known :))

How would the jacket be removable? Unless you could take off one of the arms....

I don't see with that pose a way for it to simply just pop off...

^ One of Gambit's arms is removable. I don't see why this would be any different

Thanks for the update Dusty! I really appreciate the direct interaction you have with us Freaks! :hi5:

Awesome, thanks for the update Dusty.

Removable jacket ftw! :yess:

If the jacket is removable then I would be very interested. Now bring on the rest of the original members of the Xmen and I'm set.

Good to hear! :wave

So when I said "Unless one of the arms would be removable in my original post" the answer was "Yeah probably like they did with Gambit." You know for the folks who don't own Gambit nor have been following the process of that one as if it were a Page Six celebrity. Thanks. :slap

But then he wouldn't be a PF. It would be a 1/4 scale comiquette. I hope it stays on. The jacket is the only thing that designates this piece as a PF. Now, if they would have put some spiffy spandex on him, then I could see the jacket being removable.

I like the jacket and plan on keeping it on him, but I think it should be removable for those collectors who do not like fabric. It would not make any $$$ sense for Sideshow to NOT give collectors the option to display him either way.

How would the jacket being removable affect you if you want to keep it on bro? Gambit's is removable, it's just more options for folks and that's always good for strokes. :rock

Yeah, so? What's to stop you from keeping the jacket on even if it's removable?
