Conspiracy! They purposely made the Ex head look bad to go with the bad face sculpt of Emma!

Not trying t be a hater but ouch! The Cyclops EX head looks awful, may I suggest the sculptor use a light, move it around your sculpt, and look at the head from all angles when sculpting..and if need be get more reference...absolutely no excuse for it looking that whacked..IMO! For those who are waiting for them congrats for your additions.

I got it in yesterday. I got up for work (I work overnight), but I had time to set up the statue.
Put the regular head on and checked the lights, fine.
Put the Ex head on and checked the lights, fine.
Got the jacket on and put the regular head in and

It's a clean break, and I could probably fix it easily myself with a bit of superglue. I sent these images and my suggestion to Sideshow. We'll see if they give me the go ahead to try. I do see the paint scuff on the neck line, and it doesn't bother me that much.


Icing on the cake is that this is # 20/500. Lowest number I've ever gotten (and a nice round even one), so I hope that I can retain that.

Update: Sideshow is going to be sending me a replacement body, and I'll have to destroy this one. I'm so glad that I won't have to send the whole thing back. Since they're doing that then I see no reason why I can't try a quick fix to hold me over.

It just cracks me up when anyone is critical of a piece and people just can't handle it. IMHO the EX head on this Cyke blows. Same with the Emma PF. Just because I don't like PFs in general doesn't mean that it isn't true.

I love fully sculpted comiquettes. However, I have been just as critical of the Colossus comiquette portrait along with Namor and Bullseye as well.

Fugly is fugly no matter what format or scale.

I got my ex today. It is a pretty good PF but the jacket is a mother to get on, I have given up on it! What is the best way to put it on? If anyone can help me with this it would be great! I am worried I am going to break something...
The ex head is a deformed, unsymmetrical mess. I am missing the print...

I put the left arm into the jacket first. You've just got to inch it through slowly little by little. Don't attach it to the body yet. Then put the jacket onto the right arm. That one's a bit easier to get through. Pull the jacket as tight as you can safely over the back and angle the left arm over and into the slot.

Did you pull the product box all the way out of the shipping box, and check in there? I can't recall exactly, but I don't think that my print was inside the product box. I know that sometimes I'll only pull the product box out enough to get the styrofoam out.

Thanks I will give it a try. I was sort of doing that before but I thought I would scratch the hell out of the left arm pit area when I swung the left arm piece around.

With the print I have checked all the boxes, even for a compartment in the styro but no luck. Either it was never in there or customs might have "forgot" to put it back

That sucks. I'm sure that SS will send you one, however. It's just lousy that you have to wait. The print has got to be the best one I've owned yet. This will be the first one that I'm going to get a frame for. Also, I think it's really classy that the envelope that it comes in is printed with a blown up version of the print. I hope that they continue doing that.

This is why I'm glad that I got the Ex. I was hoping that the head would be better in-hand, but this makes up for that disappointment.

Nice! I kinda loathed prints after how bad Venom's turned, I mean the box on that is beautiful and the print is SO BAD! But this is worthy of displaying. The visor looks much cooler in the artwork than on the head sculpt too.
