Cyclops PF

This is from one of my favorite story arcs, From the Ashes.

Cyclops' new girlfriend, Madelyne Pryor, is a spot on resemblance of Jean Grey (actually, later you find out she is a clone of her). Anyway, Mastermind convinces everyone (behind the scenes, of course) that Madelyne is Jean Grey reborn as Dark Phoenix. Cyclops figures it out, but not before Mastermind makes everyone see Cyclops as Dark Phoenix. On this page Cyclops is fending off / taking down the rest of the X-Men as he tries to stop Mastermind. He uses strategy and the Danger Room against the other X-Men, and effectively holding off against Kitty, Colossus, Storm, Rogue, Nightcrawler and Wolverine...not to mention Lockheed.

That's my point, the writers are limited and have to let Cyclops win.

Is Sinister's body made of adamantium?

The writers are given a lot of flexibility, just look at all the great stories over the years. Cyclops is the leader of the X Men, he can hold his own. Wolverine is powerful but so is Hulk. Neither of them could lead the X-Men. Cyclops fans arent looking for who is the most powerful, they are looking at a leader, someone who can not only blast away sinister, but control wolverine and deploy the team.

Would be fantastic if the excl was just the print. And why not? Norrin has multiple arms and heads, so why not on this masterpiece?

Is Sinister's body made of adamantium?

That is completely irrelevant; sure, Wolverine's bones would survive, but he would be either 1) pure bones or 2) completely incapacitated for a very long time. The best thing I can compare it to is when Punisher shot Wolverine with a bazooka and he was bones from the torso down; Spiderman and Daredevil had to wait a few weeks for him to heal up before they could go looking for Punisher again.

Wolverine is badass and is able to smash heads with the best of them; however, Cyclops would not be stupid enough to stand there and go toe-to-toe with him. As shown, he would keep Wolverine off balance and outthink him until he could take him out of the fight.

Sure, Iron Patriot beat the living hell out of Cyclops, but the entire time Cyclops was smiling because his entire plan was playing out. Hell, Cyclops single handidly took Juggernaut and Black Tom out simply by outthinking them. The only exception I can think of is when the X-Men fought WWHulk...they got owned.

There are tons and tons of Marvel slashers and punchers, but Cyclops' leadership and strategic abilities are second only to Captain America.


I seriously cannot wait to preorder this next Thursday. I think I may display him with the regular head because I am not 100% feeling the teeth, but my opinion will probably change every week once I have him in hand.

2) We know it has the LED light up eyes!
3) We know it has an awesome EX head WITH alternate hands!

Really, the only question left is does it have a cool base or not.

This thread has become awesome. I cant wait to get this PF!!! Seeing some of these old Cyke stories with Wolvie has really taken me back!! Thanks, guys!! Here's hoping we all get our order in for the Ex next week!!!!

Kitty Pryde could take them both out by phasing them into the ground. Since she phases between molecules, by letting go, the Hulk or Wolvie would be merged at a molecular level... Killing them instantly.

Actually, Kitty tried that during WWHulk...she phased Hulk's arms and legs into the ground and he just got angry and pulled them out. Hulk beat the hell out of the X-Men during that fight.

Well....I say the Cyke PF kicks the Wolvie PFs ass. Removable jacket means that this piece can be displayed with NO cloth/spandex. 1/4 scale fully sculpted diplay option is the big winner here. Pajama Wolvie gets OWNED!

Seriously, congrats to all of you that are picking up Cyke. It really looks like it's going to be a good looking piece.

Proven incorrect during WWH. Kitty phased Hulk into the ground and he busted free and healed instantly.
