BAN HIM!!!

Awww who am I kidding...I'd buy Jubilee too.

Have they announced a beast pf????

Someone posted an Ask Sideshow excerpt where they listed a bunch of characters and Beast was one that they confirmed. But I can't recall if he's in the pipeline or if he's already being worked on or what. They might have even just said they are planning on it and he could be a long way off.

I can't wait til Cyclops goes on preorder!! I wonder what the exclusive will be, just light up?

I am betting a swap our head with him wearing glasses instead of his visor. I have a feeling Sideshow is going to stall the preorder for awhile...but I can't wait.

I hope not. What makes you say that? They need to release the X-Men hard and fast or else I might spend my money on something else...lol:impatient:

I doubt lights will be the exclusive, if it has lights both editions will light up. Swap out head sounds likely, but won't his hand look funny posed like he is about the push the button on his visor?

  1. I asked both mods on the SDCC online chat if Cyclops would go up for preorder sometime in 2010 and neither of them would confirm that; one of them told me not to hold my breath.
  2. I think it is overwhelmingly obvious that the X-Men PFs are far more popular than the 1/5 Nightcrawler and Colossus comiquettes. Alot of board members believe that if Sideshow continues to show the PFs, the comiquettes won't sell.
  3. NONE of the X-Men PF's were shown at SDCC while all of the comiquettes were (further evidence that Sideshow knows the PF's will dwarf the comiquettes)

Yeah, this should have been a Comiquette. They should reserve the 1/4 scale PFs for the best, most iconic X-Men outfits. Man-E-Pouches with silly brown jacket is not that.

Ah, thanks for the info.

Everyone complains about that pose, seems to me that hes about to press the visor button:) So as far as the scott summers with glasses EX, he can be taking it off:clap:clap

What would then?????

I would have preferred PFs to be the Byrne/Cockrum costumes too. Having said that, I think a case can be made that both the 90s and 80s costumes are pretty iconic. One was the the height of the X-Men franchise creatively, as those stories still hold up today and still can't be topped. Byrne, Cockrum, and Claremont told the definitive x-stories ever and are definitely iconic. Jean, Scott, Logan, Ororro, Kurt, and Piotr have never looked better. The other 90s era on the other hand, was the X-Men at the height of commercial popularity. You had the cartoon, action figures, cups, shirts, etc with some decent stories. I love both, but for very different reasons and can't fault Sideshow for going to the PF route with the 90s designs. They are the introduction of many fans to the X-Men. It doesn't mean we won't see the Byrne/Cockrum designs in PF; there's a huge chance.

Now the modern/current designs they can take a break from for all I care. Not a fan of those looks at all.

Don't worry...the always better looking comiquette is just around the corner!:rotfl

I'm one of the folks that grew up on animated show. This is the one and only Cyclops. Pew pew pew pew.

His fingers are slightly bent and his thumb is extended. They could easily do a swap out head of him wearing his red glasses and it would look like he was about to take them off. That's my thought anway.

I'm a fan of the Lee era of X-Men but I would have preferred to have seen the Bryne, or even the more recent Cassady, version of Cyclops in PF form over the Lee version.

But I'm happy that Cyke is getting some SSC love! :banana

I don't really care for the Jim Lee costume, but it is the version of Cyclops I was first exposed to (the cartoon) so I'm hard pressed not to like this. The jacket still looks strange to me...
