On a related note, The Grudge is my favorite horror movie of all time. The original series from Japan (called Ju-on) was also pretty cool.

I completely agree. The originals were pretty good, but the remake was pretty terrible.

Jingle All The Way is unintentionally hilarious. The funniest stuff is funny in a different way then the filmmakers intended.

The line "Poot that cookie down!" isn't funny. But Arnold saying that line...is.

That's why A Christmas Story is the perfect christmas movie. It's about a young boy who's dealing with rage, beating up kids at school, has an abusive father, is lied to by the radio, and just wants a rifle to help him overcome the imaginary bad guys and pressures of it all.
