I kid. I kid. My brother is a huge NASCAR fan--- I just never got the appeal. I tried to watch a race last season... just not for me.

Nascar is fun to watch for one thing, the crashes. I dont want anyone to get hurt but I want them to crash, past that is pretty boring. If Im going to watch a car going fast on TV I prefer to watch Hight Speed Chases those are the best TV.

I wont say they aren't athletic now but back in the day yes. The body take a huge toll during a race. There are a lot of sports I would say that the people are not athletes before race care driving.
