Its a special word meaning 'Morbach Spam'
Actually its what people use to keep a thread on the 1st page of a particular forum. By posting a bump post, bumping a thread, etc
It gets used a lot in the commerce section, your only allowed 1 bump a day !
Think this should apply to all forums tbh (dont know if it does)
Bump
in before the Morbach !
They're teasing one another because each has a habit of bumping the thread, and each is joking that the other has the least self-control to refrain from a meaningless post -- a bump. A lot of us have grown tired of it and don't think it's cute. You can read the discussion under "Forum Questions & Suggestions," which is about SSF itself. Meanwhile, don't tax yourself trying to follow the in-jokes. They aren't all that funny except to them. (Yes, I am grouchy today.) The only purpose of bumping is to keep the thread on the first page...but if there was something new in it, it would be on the first page. So it's kind of deceiving, and disappointing when you check in and see only a "bump."
Oh, but by the way, WELCOME, Spierre.
Thank Christ !
My inbox after this thread subscription cant take anymore 'Bumps', 'woots' 'cant waits' and 'any news' before it pops ?
Rather than Spam posting a thread those that cant hold their own water might try a thread subscription and a little patience !
If theres any news youll be notified via the subscription !
I thought I was subscribing for news ffs . . . . Ill keep it in my Favs and check in periodically . . . .
how many "newbies" have joined this thread since I've been bumping it? quite a few. I rest my case.
So me wanting to possibly get more people into this head is wrong? how many "newbies" have joined this thread since I've been bumping it? quite a few. I rest my case. I wasn't doing it to be funny or cute or as an "inside joke". I was doing it to get more attention on it.
