It’s not about the superhero fights it’s about the psychological fights, drama and dialogue.
They handled the amulet perfectly by not showing if it was all in his mind or not.

I like that portrait of a vigilante who just acts without thought who had just won a difficult case, and then immediately walks down the middle of the sidewalk under the street lights out in public with a bright white costume.
Hector was a mindless vigilante with a plan that was no deeper than just “beat up bad guy” and his character served the narrative perfectly as a counterpoint to DD, Frank and bad cops modus operandi.
The frog sounds during the end credits was freaking savage.
