Finished S2.

Masterpiece.

A series that treats every single secondary and supporting character just as good as their primary characters deserves the title of masterpiece.

When you combine the small character moments and dialogue from everyone along with the spectacular action it easily makes S1/S2 one of the best…if not the best…superhero adaptations ever.

Onto S3.

I’m nervous.

God I wish Hot Toys or Inart would make the definitive Punisher with a giant armory with all of his gear and different vests and different heads.

I would include 4 heads:

Jane
Bernthal
Stevenson
Comic Book

Batman armory is cool.

Punisher armory is cooler!

I would definetly want a Mike Zeck comic book look as well.

Would you prefer a Punisher Armory or a Punisher War Van?

S1 of DD is terrific and probably one of the best Marvel adaptions, though I've always found the finale to be underwhelming, especially the final showdown between Fisk and Daredevil. The first half of S2 is great but the second half is kinda mediocre; they try to cram way too much storytelling into that second half with Elektra and the Hand, making it come a cross as rushed and underdeveloped.

S3... I don't remember much of. Only watched it once back when it was originally released. I do remember liking it, though. Currently rewatching the whole series, so I'll get to it eventually it. As for the Defenders, I remember liking DD's parts in it but overall thought it wasn't great.

Finished S3.

Epic!

All 3 seasons, EPIC!

Mic dropped.

Bring on S4!
S1-3 of Daredevil is pretty much perfect. An incredible "trilogy".

I have S1 and S2 on Blu Ray, it really bugs me that they never released S3 on Blu Ray 😔

The extras and special features are devastatingly disappointing though. As in, there aren't any! I'd love some behind the scenes material for the first 3 seasons.

Re-watching Punisher season 1.

I remember liking it with some complaints that it was a little slow and my own pet peeve that he is too small for the part but I will say this on the rewatch his intensity and acting abilities makes up for his small stature, plus his broken nose goes a long way making him the Punisher we all love to love lol

Season 2 I’m staying away from that is unanimously hated, it was bad.

The intro to DD is the best series intro in tv history.

Punisher intro unfortunately sucks, too deep southern rock, stupid harmonica. :gah:

Needed a better theme and visuals.

Punisher is NYC not backwoods Tennessee.

Dukes of Hazard is the best intro with a southern theme lol

Now I want a spinoff show with cousins Matt and Frank racing around the backwoods, with a silly Devil-Skull logo on the roof of their vintage GTO, being chased by Poindexter and his hound dog, who takes orders from the white-clad, cigar-chomping Boss Kingpin, who owns everything and everyone in the backwoods Devilskull County.
Yeeehaw!

It's been so long I can't remember the story details, but I remember loving both seasons of Punisher. But then I wasn't a comic fan so didn't have the same expectations many others here probably did.

Jessica Jones on the other hand I thought took a clear nosedive after the excellent first season. Still pretty good, but nowhere near the heights of the first.

I just don't have much faith in the writers that Disney uses. In some ways I feel like this show has set them up for disaster because it'll obviously be compared to the Netflix show.

It's not my thing but I hope it satisfies fans of the Netflix series. But somehow I doubt it will. GL.
