I'm surprised no one has leaked details yet.

We already know the action is going to be violent. I want to know about the dialogue.
Compound fracture in the trailer so ....yeah....it's gonna be violent.

But that not a good pre requisite. Senseless violence is boring as hell. For violence to mean anything it HAS to be rooted in injustice or revenge of some sort.

This show could suck if it's all punching gags and explosions. Without the drama and character conflict the gore and violence just detracts.

The cast is stellar and I trust they read the script and the rest is there. I expect great conflicting dialogue and tension.

Yeah the first season flight we legendary, but they had consequence and fatigue and that what makes them good.

An unstoppable DD with limitless energy and stamina .....no thanks. Falliablily and danger is the real drama.

I like my Punisher emotionally compromised as well ....

This is my biggest concern with the new series. In She Hulk he was just unstoppable, knocking guys down in one hit, infinite stamina. No weight to it.
:/ I was getting that vibe. And that superhero landing gif is painful to watch.

Unless he's gotten some physics defying medal from Dr Strange, I'll be very disappointed in super human feats from a blind guy who knows kung fu.

Yeah all this talk about the new series being more brutal etc than the original has actually been a bit perplexing to me. As that's not something that I thought was really necessary, and Matt punching the crap out of people or doing his spin kicks was usually enough to get the job done before.

I don't need to see broken bones every 5 minutes to find the show gritty and cool.

Like I know it's all comic book nonsense at the end of the day but part of what I loved about the Daredevil series was how real it felt - everything from the characters to the fighting.

I don't want my live action Daredevil to be a diet Spider-Man. I want him to be and feel human.

Yes the fight s felt real, like energy was being expended and even though you know the hero will survive, we also saw the cost of his heroism.

Sigh, with all the talk of a "traumatic event" to start the series, it's really sounding like Foggy is done for. IMDB only has him listed for one episode, and the actor has been a lot quieter than the others in interviews as well...

I saw one person suggest it could be a giant fakeout, with Matt only thinking Foggy has died. But seems unlikely.

I didn't bring it up but you read my mind, I was thinking about it.
so the rumor was that I either Karen or Foggy, and I was hoping it wasn't foggy. I really like that character.
Karen is listed on all 18 episodes on IMDb so she's staying I guess. I like her a lot too. but.... foggy was great.

Yeah I know something like that was rumored before, but I guess it was so baked into the existing footage that they had no choice but to follow through on it. With the only difference being that we actually get to see the character again early on.

It's still going to be a massive bummer either way.
